Grace Stewart-Skinner's debut album

Grace Stewart-Skinner's "Auchies Spikkin' Auchie" effortlessly intertwines field recorded conversation with her new compositions to create an ethnomusicological postcard of her wee home village, Avoch.

Featuring Grace on clàrsach, Rose Logan on fiddles, Rhona MacDonald on double bass and Ewa Adamiec on drum kit.

Born and brought up in the Highlands, Grace has been surrounded by Traditional Scottish music her whole life. Her knowledge of the wider folk traditions of Scotland and Gaelic feed into her performances and help inspire her new compositions.
